ACU would strike early in the contest at the 11 minute mark in the first half to take the lead. However, that's all both team would get, as Matthew Ortiz held the opposition with 6 saves in the match. The game would ultimately end in 1-0 victory for ACU.

"I am super proud of the team. Today was going to be difficult after yesterday's overtime game but the team stepped up everyone contributed and we grind it out a good result today. The boys showed great energy enthusiasm and fight for each other this whole weekend. Now we just keep trying to get better and go into a big week next week playing a couple of the Arizona schools."
