Early on in the contest, Arizona Christian held Marymount in check defensively, so much so that Marymount was getting in early trouble with the refs with multiple yellow cards. ACU had Marymount against the ropes with GoalKeeper, Josue Delgadillo leading the charge, in the 2-0 shoutout.

"Really proud of the boys today. We have had a great couple of weeks of training and progress and I'm very happy that it turned out way today as the team deserved it. We were really disciplined for 90 minutes today against a very good Marymount team. Now to keep progressing and coming together as a group as we go through the next couple of weeks."
