Thoughts from Coach:
"We're really looking forward to seeing how we come back and play the same team again this week. We played well against them last week, so it will be very interesting to see how we do against them. Last year we did not play very well in similar situations, so hopefully we can overcome those mental mistakes and play well. This will be a really good test for us and I am anxious to see how we respond."

ACU is 3-0 against SAGU American Indian in the all-time series, winning most recently, 98-50 at home on Oct. 24, 2020.
ACU Notes:
ACU finished the 2019-20 season 10-19 overall and 6-12 in the GSAC a season ago while also averaging 65.3 points per game. The Firestorm were picked to finish eighth out of the 10 teams in the GSAC according to a release by the conference earlier this season.
As a team in game one, ACU scored 98 points on 33-of-76 (.434) shooting from the field, including hitting 16-of-34 (.471) three-point attempts.
Des Gonzalez currently leads the Firestorm in scoring after a 24 point, nine rebound, three steal, and two-assist performance against SAGU American Indian a week ago. Emily Vaszary added 12 points in the game and Sophia Martinez scored 11 points while adding a team-high five assists off the bench.
SAGU American Indian Notes:
Finished the 2019-20 season with a 2-15 overall record while also averaging 50 points per game as a team.
Against ACU last week, Jamika Nelson led the Warriors in scoring with 16 points, with Lola Jackson, Christin Bahe, and Vanessa James each finishing with six points.
