GOODWELL, Okla. - The Arizona Christian University men's soccer program (1-1-0) moved into the win column earlier today after a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State University (1-1-0) in Goodwell, Okla.

Thoughts from Coach: 

After the match, Head Coach Andrew Belleman stated, " Being on the road against a very talented team that was rested makes for a tough matchup.  The guys started really well with their pressure and we took advantage of our opportunities.  I was proud of how our guys played with intensity and fought for each other when the game was hard.  It is a really good team win and a great way to end our first road trip of the fall."
 

The Game: 

The first half was all-ACU with the Firestorm scoring three times at 5:47, 43:25, and 44:54 to take a 3-0 lead into the half.  The Aggies would eventually get on the board with a goal late into the contest at 80:05, but ACU would hold them off its first victory of the season, 3-1.
