Slaughter's Career High Helps Lead Firestorm to Comeback Victory Over Tigers

Box Score

Glendale, AZ. - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball team (11-4) fought hard as they came from behind to defeat Olivet Nazarene University (8-6) 93-88 to extend their winning run to six games on Wednesday afternoon at the ACU Events Center.

Thoughts from Coach:

After the game, Head Coach Rusty Rogers said, "We don't win that game the first month of the season—the growth in terms of maturity and toughness of our team is amazing to witness! Statistically, this game was mind-blowing. Olivet Nazarene took 95 shots, including 66 three pointers, had 27 offensive rebounds and created 24 turnovers, yet, ironically, it was our defense that allowed us to overcome a 15-point deficit with one minute to go in the third quarter. We outscored them 24-8 in the fourth!"
