Box Score SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The ACU men's soccer program (4-7-0; 2-4-0 GSAC) fell behind early and had trouble producing any offense in a 2-0 shutout loss to The Master's University (2-6-2; 1-5-1 GSAC) Thursday afternoon on Reese Field.
Series Notes:
ACU won the first game of the season series against the Mustangs, but with today's loss moved to 5-11-0 all-time versus The Master's.
The Game:
The Master's scored early at the 7:18 mark of the first half and never looked back, adding one additional goal late in a 2-0 shutout over the Firestorm. ACU and TMU each totaled an even 12 shots, five on-goal, but the Firestorm were unable to capitalize on those opportunities as they never found the back of the net.

"We dug ourselves a hole by giving up a goal off of a corner early on. I felt like we dominated possession for the majority of the match, but we did not have quality opportunities to finish our chances. It is tough to win on the road, especially when you give up an early goal and miss a penalty kick. We will focus on recovering and get ready to take on OUAZ on Monday."
