Glendale, AZ - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball team (16-8, 6-7 GSAC) fell 71-60 to Hope International (21-2, 11-2 GSAC) on Saturday afternoon at the ACU Events Center.

Game Details:

The Firestorm battled hard against the Royals early on as the teams exchanged leads before the Royals edged out to a 17-16 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Royals then took over in the second as they outscored the Firestorm 20-8 to take a 37-24 halftime lead. Things didn't get much better for the Firestorm in the third as the Royals continued their momentum building their lead to 65-42 at the end of the third. Down but not out the Firestorm didn't give up though as they outscored the Royals 18-6 in the fourth, but it was to little to late as the Firestorm fell 71-60 with Alyssa Alvarez leading the way with 19 points.
