Thoughts from Coach Fahsholz
"Today was a real redemptive race for our guy's team. A month ago, we ran poorly at the Master's Invite and lost by about three minutes to a former GSAC foe we had wanted to beat (Vanguard). The good that came from it though was that the guys started practicing with a greater level of consistency and intentionality – the fruit of that today was running five minutes faster as a team and beating Vanguard. If we can stay consistent and intentional over these final three weeks I think there best is still yet to come. Many names deserve shout outs – I wish everyone could have seen
Peter Brown fly over the final thousand meters of the course! - but Trevin and Braxton, who had particularly bad races a month ago, were particularly good today, and very good in the lead up of setting the tone for our group to run well today."
