Glendale, AZ- For the third straight race, sophomore

Brown finished 7th overall, and ran 26:21 over the 8k course. Sophomore
Braxton Pingleton was the second Firestorm to cross the finish line before Lambrecht, who had not finished higher than 7
th on the team yet this season, crossed the line for third on the team and 24
th overall for the race. Rounding out the top five were freshman
Wayne Shuman and
John-Gabriel Lofredo.
Thoughts from Coach Fahsholz
"We had three of our top five runners from our first two meets not racing today, and so I was excited to see who would be the one to step up. Brady has been training hard and well, and to run over one minute faster than he did two weeks ago was a big leap – especially when most runners from our team and others ran slower than they had two weeks ago at the Master's Invite. Can't say enough about Peter as well – his consistency in training and racing has made him one of the top runners in the GSAC, and I am excited to see how he does in our next two races."
