No. 15 Firestorm Announce 2026 Baseball Schedule

Glendale, Ariz.- Arizona Christian University Baseball, the recently announced preseason NAIA ranked no. 15, is excited to release their 2026 schedule. The 2026 campaign, with opening day set for January 22, will see the no.15 Firestorm face off against Evangel University out of Missouri.

With the debut of their new baseball field, the Firestorm will kick off their season by hosting the annual Coach Calderone Invitational January 22nd through the 24th. This year, ACU will also host the NAIA Ball East/West Challenge the weekend after, January 29-31.

The Firestorm will open up their season with a 10-game home stretch, hosting opponents like Evangel University, LeMoyne-Owen College, and University of Southwest among new faces.

They will go to Louisiana for their first road trip to play against Louisiana Christian University and #1 seed Louisiana State University Shreveport.

Then, the Firestorm will return home and host Spring Arbor and Embry-Riddle to close out the month of February. At the beginning of March, they will kick off conference play by heading to California to face the familiar foe, The Master's.

ACU will quickly return home for one game against Madonna University before going across town to face Park Gilbert in Gilbert, AZ. The second half of March will consist of hosting new GSAC opponent La Sierra and traveling up north to face off against OUAZ in Prescott, AZ March 26-28.

The month of April will start by the Firestorm hosting Nelson (AZ) and the #4 seeded Hope International April 10-11 before heading on the road to play against Benedictine Mesa.

A single game against Justice University on April 22 is scheduled as the final home game and will be Senior Night for the Firestorm's class of 2026.

Head coach Joe McDonald shared some thoughts for the upcoming season. "We are really excited for the 2026 campaign with a schedule that has a lot of high quality opponents and many teams from multiple conferences across the country. We look forward to the challenges in front of us for this upcoming season and will continue to work hard to prepare to keep our success continuing on."
