Northern California GSAC Teams Coming To Arizona

Phoenix, AZ- Beginning on Thursday, the GSAC Northern California schools come to visit Arizona.  The Firestorm host William Jessup on Thursday at Rose Mofford Sports Complex before hosting Menlo on Saturday at Scottsdale Christian Academy.

Series Notes

ACU and WJU have a 2-2 all-time record with the Firestorm winning the last two meetings.  The Oaks hold a 6-1 all-time lead with Arizona Christian earning their win two years ago.

 

Arizona Christian

On Saturday, the Firestorm tied Ottawa (AZ) 2-2 in double overtime.  Sarahie Torres and Irene Ledezma scored for ACU.

William Jessup

The Warriors split with The Master's and San Diego Christian last week with both results going final at 2-0.  Cassidy Gray and Isabel House scored against the Hawks.  WJU is 5-8 with a 1-3 GSAC record.

Menlo

Last week, Menlo beat San Diego Christian 6-1 but fell 1-0 versus The Master's.  Kori-Ann Koverman and Amanda Nebozuk scored two goals each against the Hawks.  The Oaks will play at Ottawa (AZ) on Friday. Menlo is 6-3 and 1-2 GSAC heading into this weekend.
