Phoenix, AZ- Arizona Christian baseball dropped game one of the three-game series against Menlo 7-5. 

The Firestorm (14-24, 9-18 GSAC) scored five runs on seven hits while committing three errors. The Oaks (15-21, 11-17 GSAC) outhit ACU with 10 hits scoring seven runs and committed only one error. 

Arizona Christian started strong plating three runs in the first inning. ACU scored their final two runs of the contest in the third before being held scoreless for the last six frames. 

Senior Marco Castilla led the Firestorm at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI.  Senior Jonathan Nunnally, Jr. went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in one.  Senior Matt Mara went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Senior Robert Milacki started on the mound tossing 4.2 innings allowing six runs (four earned) on six hits while striking out four.  Junior Baylor Giannini, Senior Tony Pins, and Junior River Carbone all pitched in relief.

The Firestorm and Oaks will continue the series tomorrow at Firestorm Field.  First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 am.
