Box Score SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Arizona Christian University women's basketball program (8-4; 2-2 GSAC) fell to the Hawks of San Diego Christian College (4-3; 1-1 GSAC) Saturday afternoon, 67-65 inside the Joan Kroc Center.
Thoughts from Coach:
After the narrow loss, Rusty Rogers said, "This was a tough, tough loss. We did so many things that were uncharacteristic of our recent play - sloppy passing, missed free throws, blown defensive assignments - and it ultimately cost us the game. When you have just eight conference games to begin with, a slip up like this really puts us in a tough place. We have to keep learning so that we can get better and play more consistently."
Game Details:
The loss snaps an 11-game win streak for the Firestorm over the Hawks. ACU still leads the all-time series, 11-8.
