GLENDALE, Ariz. - Propelled by senior day energy, the ACU women's soccer program (3-10-0; 2-6-0 GSAC) cruised to a season-finale shutout win over William Jessup University (2-8-1; 1-5-1 GSAC), 4-0 Wednesday afternoon on the ACU Football Field.

The Game: 

Prior to the contest, ACU's seniors were honored on the field.  The energy from the senior celebration was palpable as the Firestorm scored early and often, puring in four goals in the contest en route to earning a 4-0 shutout win.  The contest was ACU's final contest of the 2020 season.

Thoughts from Coach: 

After the match, Head Coach Josh Macharia said, "What a game!  I feel like everything that the girls have worked on came together today.  I think the fact that it was senior day, and also having Jackie back in-goal, really motivated the girls to play their hardest.  I am proud of how we finished the season.  We sent our seniors out in a great way and we are grateful for what God is doing in their lives."
