Box Score LANCASTER, Calif. - The ACU baseball team (28-19) dropped its two-game season series to the University of Antelope Valley (9-3) Thursday afternoon with a 15-5 non-conference loss at The Hangar.

The loss moves ACU's all-time record against the Pioneers to 3-1.
The Game:
ACU got on the board early with a run in the first inning, but Antelope Valley would score early and often, adding runs in five different innings on 20 total hits, including a seven-run seventh en route to picking up the 15-5 victory.
Starting pitcher Trevor McGee (5-3) suffered the loss after going five full, allowing seven runs on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Three relievers combined to toss the final three innings and allowed eight runs on 10 hits, walking one and striking out two.
Ramon Miranda crushed his tenth home run of the season and finished with three RBI, a pair of runs scored, two stolen bases, and a walk. With the home run, Miranda becomes just the fourth player in program history to reach double-digit homers, and is the first since to do so since Jonathan Nunnally during the 2018 season.
Justen Burkey went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, Manny Villa added a hit and an RBI, and Brent Smith scored a run and stole two bases.
