Mesa, AZ - The Arizona Christian University women's soccer program opened its season Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 loss to Benedictine Mesa at Eagles Park Community Center in Mesa, Arizona.

The Game:

Benedictine Mesa opened the scoring at 10:09, but the Firestorm quickly answered to tie the game less than a minute later at 10:49. Benedictine Mesa would close out the half with two more goals at 29:04 and 31:28 as they took a 3-1 lead at half-time. The second half wound up scoreless despite multiple shot attempts from both teams as Benedictine Mesa came away with the 3-1 victory.
