The Firestorm were short-staffed tonight following absences from starters Roybal, Brown, and Kekic. However, the depth of this squad showed through as the bench was able to come through for a combined 26 points. From the opening whistle ACU was running both sides of the floor, keeping the Warriors held to just four three-point shots made the entire game. On the offensive end, Gunn and Alvarez kept the tempo the entire game, both scoring in the double digits. The Firestorm held on for their first victory of the season, with plenty more still to come.

Women's basketball will head west the weekend to take on two GSAC opponents - #2 Westmont College on Thursday, and #18 The Master's University on Saturday.
