Tonight's game was a lot of back and forth, each team matching the other shot for shot. The Royals took an early lead in the first quarter, but the Firestorm defense showed out in the second quarter, holding Hope to just 12 points and taking a 2 point lead into halftime. The Royals were lights out from three point range in the second half, recording 8 field goals from beyond the arc. As the game came into its final minutes it was more back and forth until the Firestorm missed some clutch opportunities at the basket as their first conference win of the season eluded them again.
