Series Notes
The Firestorm trail 2-6 in their history with Antelope Valley, with four games played both home and away. All four matches in Lancaster have been won by the Pioneers. In their most recent meeting last season, ACU defeated Antelope Valley 4-0 at ACU Football Field.

La Sierra owns a 2-1 advantage in their all-time series with ACU. Like this upcoming game, all three previous games were hosted at La Sierra Soccer Field. After two scoreless losses, the Firestorm defeated the Golden Eagles 3-1 in their most recent meeting back in 2019.

ACU leads 5-1 in their series with Bethesda (CA), winning the last five matches and outscoring the Lion Angels by a 24-9 margin. The Firestorm beat the Lion Angels 4-1 in their latest meeting back in 2015.

Coach Cormier's Thoughts
"Lady Firestorm has a challenging week in front of them, with three games in the next six days," Coach Cormier said. "I am looking forward to watching our team play with consistency. We are building resilience, improving our team chemistry, and our players are continuing to develop positive character traits."

Antelope Valley
The University of Antelope Valley Pioneers have yet to record a competition, as they host the Firestorm for their season opener. Out of the Cal Pac Conference, Antelope Valley managed a 3-12-1 overall record in 2022, struggling to six losses to close out their year. Diego Cocon is entering his fourth season at the helm of the program.

La Sierra
The La Sierra University Golden Eagles host Life Pacific today for their season opener prior to welcoming the Firestorm to Riverside. Last season, La Sierra posted a 6-7-2 overall record and won four of their final seven matches. David Trevino became the Golden Eagles' head coach in 2016 and his squad set a program record for most wins in a season (13) in 2017.

Bethesda (CA)
Following a hiatus of over five years, Bethesda University reinstated their Women's Soccer program in 2023. The Lion Angels kicked off their season with a 2-1 road loss to Providence Christian University on August 25th. They will encounter Whittier College and Occidental College leading up to their date with the Firestorm. Ruben Gonzalez takes over as head coach after 15 years of coaching success at Cerritos College.
