Series Notes
ACU holds a 5-4-1 advantage in their all-time series with Jessup. The Firestorm are 2-3 at Warrior Field, having lost the previous meeting there 2-1 in 2022. Alyssa Mercado had the Firestorm's lone goal in that match. In 10 contests, ACU has outscored Jessup by a slim 21-17 margin.

In the Firestorm's all-time series with Menlo, they possess a 1-10 record. ACU has been shut out on eight occasions and are on the wrong end of a 31-3 scoring differential. 2016 marks the Firestorm's lone victory over the Oaks, it being a 1-0 contest held at Wunderlich Field. In the most recent meeting on October 22, 2022, Menlo defeated ACU 1-0 despite the Firestorm out shooting them 11-7.

Coach Gina Cormier's Thoughts
"Our core goal for the season is to win the Golden State Athletic Conference," Coach Cormier said. "We believe we can do that. We recognize how important it is to start strong in these opening conference games against William Jessup and Menlo to achieve that goal. They are competitive programs that will require our best.  We are excited to rise to the occasion and take the next step forward towards competing for a championship."

Jessup University
The Jessup University Warriors (4-5-1) enter conference play with three wins in their past four games, all being shut outs and at home. Recent success came on the back end of a 0-3-1 start to 2023, as they were held to only two goals over that stretch. Kaylee Gillespie has stamped her name on eight of the Warrior's 19 goals, with a whopping 60 shots and 32 shots on goal. Adelaide Mae Smith and Abella Waterman each have two goals. Amsalu Fantahun is in his second season as head coach, currently holding a 7-14-3 record.

Menlo College
The Menlo College Oaks (1-3) embark on their conference slate with a home game against OUAZ on Thursday afternoon. In a home match against Bethesda (CA) on September 16, Menlo picked up their first win in a 4-0 blowout. The Oaks have been outscored 8-2 in their three losses. Haley Dunham leads Menlo with three goals and Kawai Acopan closely follows with two goals and one assist. Freddy Delgado steers the program's wheel for a second season and sits at a 9-8-3 record.
