The Firestorm earned a spot in the SLC tournament after earning a record of 7-4. ACU earned their spot in the tournament after just their third season as a program. UC San Diego
The Tritons are coming off a regular season record of 12-1, earning the second seed. UCSD has been the #1 ranked team in the country for the past five weeks, according to the coaches poll. They lost against San Marcos last week, who's the number one seed in the tournament.

Coach Landon's Thoughts
"We're really excited to be in this position as a program. Competing in the SLC playoffs has always been the vision for our program and we're excited to have accomplished that feat in only our third year as a program. We're still young but our guys are battle tested and confident in their abilities. It's great to get another chance to play a top ranked program in our own conference like UCSD. Our last contest with them we prepared but weren't able to execute the game plan and ultimately just didn't have our best game. We'll learn from our mistakes and give them our best shot. However we always tell our guys it's about the process not the results. We're going to focus on being the best version of ourselves in practice this week, and let the scoreboard take care of itself."

Roll Storm!
