Aliso Viejo, CA – The Firestorm Track & Field program traveled to Aliso Viejo, CA for the GSAC Track & Field Championships which were hosted on the campus of Soka University on Thursday and Friday. The women's came out on top, achieving the first ever women's team title for the program. Nine conference champions and numerous All-GSAC performances propelled the lady's team to a dominant victory over their GSAC opponents.
Junior
Cheney Gomez was awarded Field performer in the meet for scoring the most points of any field competitor. Freshman
Rylan Rhodes scored the most overall points in the meet while competing in both track and field events and so was awarded Overall Performer of the Meet. And finally, Head Coach
Brian Bell was awarded Women's Coach of the Year for his efforts guiding the women to the team title.
