Thoughts from Coach Fahsholz
"There were two keys to success for us entering this race. The first was adding into the mix a very talented runner, and the second was getting our other talented runners to finish in closer proximity to each other. Ezra helped on both fronts by taking the race out hard at the beginning – she paid for it over the final 2K – but it set the table well for her teammates to do what they needed to do which was defeat a really good Central Arizona team who is currently ranked #10 in the nation among junior college programs. It was easily our best team race of the season, and it is encouraging that we still have room to grow."
