Cross Country Places Three Runners in the Top 10 at GSAC Championships

Glendale, AZ- For the second straight race, the lady's cross country team placed three runners in the top ten.  Running in just the second race of her young career, freshman Ezra Haller once again led the group with a time of 22:23 to finish 5th place overall.  Following just seconds behind her was junior Alision Unruh who finished 8th in a time of 22:38, and senior Kaesha Guillaume who finished 9th in 22:44.  The three earned All-GSAC distinction for their performances.

Freshman Alexi Till was the fourth runner to cross the finish line running 36 seconds faster than she did on the same course one month ago.  Sophomore Priscilla Celis-Saldivar rounded out the top five with a time of 24:22 which was 56 seconds faster than a month ago.

Thoughts from Coach Fahsholz
"This was an all-time best performance for our lady's program.  To place three runners in the top ten is a first in program history, and for the team to finish just 3:45 behind the #3 team in the nation is a testament to the talent and work ethic of this group.  This season has had its ups and downs, but these ladies have stayed steady and kept the course.  I could not be happier or prouder for this group of ladies."
